“Teeth” was a movie that I was very hesitant about seeing because the whole premise of a toothed vagina is very unsettling, especially if you’re a guy like me. Nevertheless this movie is one of those that even though you’re repulsed by it’s first impression, you can’t help but be curious as to what the movie truly is. So with quirky feelings I sat down to watch this movie, and found it to be pretty good. I must say that “Teeth” is one of those movies where I had to stop and have a long thought about it. My final verdict a very fun, and clever movie. The acting from Jess Wexler especially is great, and even if the surrounding cast was a bit lackluster, it was still presentable. I must say some things could have been done a little better, and I was very disappointed in the surrounding story elements. Like when it wasn’t dealing with the absolute main premise(when it was presented in big climax situations) the story became very plain, and even somewhat predictable. However “Teeth” entertains and gives you something new and fresh that you won’t be seeing in a while. Overall even if you did or didn’t like “Teeth”, you have to appreciate it’s strangeness, and originality. I recommend it only to those who think they’re willing, and in a way have seen their fair share of horror(and comedy) to know what they’re getting themselves into.
